WELCOME INN TIME MACHINE
SASSAS transforms Eagle Rock's Welcome Inn into a venue for live performances creating a free, six hour event featuring experimental music originating in Southern California, 1949 - 1977. Micro concerts take place in individual rooms allowing key moments in sound and music history to be experienced simultaneously and sequentially in a single location. A part of the Pacific Standard Time Public Art and Performance Festival.

MYRMYR
sound. returns for a third season at Kings Road Park for the premiere Los Angeles performance of Oakland-based duo myrmyr, Agnes Szelag and Marielle Jakobsons, known for entrancing ambiences and intricate layered melodies. With a foundation of violin and cello, the duo creates an intimate post-classical atmosphere inspired by folk elements of their common Eastern European ancestry.

TAPE MUSIC
Dust off your reel-to-reel decks so that SASSAS can realign your heads! The unique architecture of the Schindler House creates multiple listening spaces to revisit this historic concert form featuring a new commission from John Wiese, a historic work from Pauline Oliveros, selections from Gary Todd's Cortical Foundation label and the Currents music series that were composed for tape, on tape, and originally presented on tape.
